I truly adore the benefits of body massage. I find that regular massage will help maintain the balance within the body and keep one's health in tip top condition.
Massage can be used to treat any form of dis-ease within the body, be it muscular as in arthritis, joint imobility, aches and pains etc, neurological symptoms such as migraine, headaches, depression, insomnia, lethargy and lack of energy etc. It also benefits by increasing blood circulation/purification and lymph removal which breaks down waste and toxins within the body, infact massage is an ideal benefit to detoxing. Of course it's also fantastic if you just want to relax and take time out and ease stress - and it certainly helps me to do this! Because it helps to rid the body of excess and waste fluid it can also help to aid weight loss and shape the body.
Aromatherapy Massage with a difference! - Try the Chi Machine Experience! (optional)
I offer a full full body massage or back, neck & shoulders massage. Your modesty will be maintained at all times as will confidentiality.
I use a selection of base oils for each skin type from jo joba for more mature skins to sweet almond oil - not the usual cheaper grapeseed oil that some salon's use. If your skin is a little dry then I will choose Vitamin E oil in it's purest form which is a lush, satinous oil that penetrates into the skin to soften and deeply moisturise.
If you need massage simply to relax and de-stess then I will use lavender to soothe you. I use high alpine organic lavender essential oil. This is the best quality essential oil. All my oils have NOT been tested on animals and are totally organic too.
Upon my arrival you will be put at ease and we will have an informal chat about your medical history, allergies etc and why you have chosen the therapy. On our initial visit please allow 1.5 hours for treatment and initial consultation.
I also offer as part of Body Massage (which is entirely optional), The Incredible Chi Machine©. The chi machine is very comfortable to use and is used before massage for a few minutes only to enable your lymph fluid to flow before your massage and also to oxygenate the muscles prior to massage. A full body massage will last approx 1 hour. Back, neck, shoulders & arms massage will be approx 40 minutes. As you will see, my prices are extremely competitive as most Body Massages are £40.00 ~ £65.00. 90% of my clients see me on a regular basis.
